At Newborn Love, we are here to help you capture important milestones. We want to help you know when to take photographs during that first year?
Newborn
These sessions take place in our Hatfield Studio. This is a fleeting time and your newborn does not stay so little for very long. As those precious first days merge into a haze of feeds, nappies and crying it is easy to forget just how tiny they once were. Families often contact us when their baby is already 4 weeks old but we photograph newborns within the first 10 days only. So don’t leave it too late.
Sitter Sessions
The next milestone we love to capture is when your baby is able to sit unsupported. We do this in natural light and keep everything light and neutral to create timeless images that are about your little one and show how much they have grown.
Cake Smash and Splash
This is becoming more popular as a way to mark your baby turning 1. We tend to photograph this at around 11 months or before your baby is too mobile. It is messy but a lot of fun. After they have covered themselves in messy cake, we put them in a little vintage bubble bath to clean off.
Location Sessions
We offer these for families and children aged around 2 yrs or more. This is a lovely way to get outside to a place that is familiar and take a mixture of ‘in the moment’ photographs and a few posed one too. I love doing these in Spring and Autumn because of the colours in the background.
